Meet Our Team

Our team in Malawi is made up of all local people from the Domasi district. We have three managers that between them organise and maintain our projects on the ground.

Our UK based team all work for Community Highlight on a voluntary basis - helping to promote the work of our organisation, fundraise for our projects and communicate with supporters so they know exactly where their money is going.

In June 2021, we were devastated to announce the sudden passing of our Founder and Director Anderson Liwonde. In tribute to this wonderful man and in celebration of everything he did for the people of Domasi, he will always have a place on our team page.

manages our education programmes - working alongside teachers to ensure the schools are running smoothly and effectively, leads on safeguarding and data collection

Feeding Programme Lead
works alongside our cooks and community groups to ensure our school feeding programme is serving the people in the most efficient way

Communications Manager
​ works alongside the management team to compile project reports, organise community meetings and plan projects, the main communicator between Malawi and the UK

Founder and Director
Anderson, who suddenly passed away in June 2021, founded Community Highlight in 2014. He worked tirelessly to create positive change in his community and he was an inspiration and role model to so many people. In tribute to Anderson, and in celebration of his incredible achievements he will always have a place on our team page.
